Ah, my Province's symbol... I remember the first time I was asked to draw a buffalo, or bison. It was back in elementary school. We were planning festivities for our Provincial holiday and they wanted a big buffalo mural to hang in our school gym. How far I've come from sketching out that huge beast on rolls of brown paper laid out on the floor to digitally drawing this guy on a graphics tablet and laptop for a friend over at the Crafter's Digital Art Center!

Yep. Back in the sixties, we didn't even DREAM of computers and the things we take for granted nowadays!

Remember, even though he prints out at five inches square, if that's too large for your use, the image can easily be scaled down or up to a size that suits your needs.

To help out a fellow stamper who was stuck for a muffin image, I drew this yummy treat for Tilda to sit upon. Because you can re-size digistamps, this image can also be scaled down to any size and used either by itself or multiple times for a whole tray of sweet goodies! Add your own chocolate chips, blueberries or cranberries.... erm, I think I am making myself hungry!

Dragonfly

This drawing of a dragonfly is from a photo I took a few years back of a huge guy flitting about me all afteroon while gardening one day. He even stuck around until I went inside, grabbed my camera and came back out to take a few shots of him. This one is my favorite!

 Here is a card showcasing this digistamp. I used patterned paper with a natural theme, added a Martha Stewart punched border at the bottom, a sheer bow and a sentiment with a small metal dragonfly charm.

But my favorite part of this card was how the wings turned out. First I coloured him in with Copics and then  I used Frosted Lace Stickles on his wings. They shimmer just like real wings! (Click to biggify the image to see for yourself!)

Back in 2008 I created this rose using my brand new Wacom graphics tablet. I decided to make a digistamp out of it as I thought it might make a nice image for a sympathy, Mother's Day or birthday cards.

Baby Fox

This little guy began as a toy for a Magnolia Tilda stamp;  he still can be a stuffie with the addition of a few stitching lines and printed smaller... but first I just wanted to print him full size so he could grace a card by himself too.

So if you purchase this Baby Fox, remember, he can be printed as large as 4 inches square, or smaller to compliment another stamp!

Here is my "Foxy Birthday" card I created with him; I simply stamped "It's your Birthday!" inside. Other sentiments he could be used for include "Smart as a Fox" for a Grad, "Crazy Like a Fox" or "Foxy Lady" for a friend.

Gee, I guess I should really name this little guy, no?
